... dirty on the inside that is. Do you exercise somewhat regularly, eat fairly healthily and still have a bloaty kind of feeling in your stomach? You may need to clean house. A few years ago I traveled SE Asia and picked up a little stowaway in my tummy. It was bloaty-stomach-syndrome and general unpleasantness. Not good times at all. The Toronto tropical diseases centre decided it was not severe enough for meds and that I would have to learn to live with my new friend. Hummm ... No. I don't think so. I sought out a reputable herbalist who recommended Wild Rose D-Tox Kit. It worked brilliantly and now I do it seasonally. (And noooooo I do not receive kickbacks for recommending this product - don't be thinking that)
Our digestive system is meant to run smoothly. For most of us it barely runs at all or runs too often. There could be a myriad of reasons for a sluggish digestive system but typically it's a result of eating too much processed foods, not getting enough fiber, or exercise, too much sugar and too little water. The point is if your digestive system is not working efficiently you get a build-up in the abdomen area and this could cause constipation, yeast infections, upset stomach, weight gain, skin problems, bad sleeps, low energy and feeling pretty awful.
A proper cleanse will clean house in the intestines, kidneys, liver, skin and all elimination organs. But do not be fooled by products that call themselves 'cleanses' if they require that you replace meals with their shakes and or supplements such as 'fat burners' which are usually heart rate accelerators. Not a true cleanse people. You can go for a brisk walk if you want to pump up your heart rate. The by-product of Wild Rose cleanse is weight loss and many of my clients get pretty darn excited about that. But mostly it gives your digestive system a fresh start - a clean slate! You will feel fantastic gain heaps more energy and feel all squeaky clean inside!
